Cunard Unveils New Oceans of Discovery Voyages
Sailings are scheduled from November 2019 through April 2020 aboard the flagship Queen Mary 2, Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria.
Oceans of Discovery features calls in 48 countries and 123 destinations. Ten maiden calls will take place in Japan, Australia, and Papua New Guinea.
The Oceans of Discovery program is broken down into three categories: World Voyages, Grand Voyages, and Regions of the World.
The World Voyage 2020 will last between 99 and 113 nights aboard Queen Mary 2. Guests can travel round-trip from New York (113 nights) or London (99 nights). The classic east-west voyage to Australia and Asia includes the Mediterranean, Arabian Gulf, Indian Ocean and Southern Africa. Shorter segments are available from one- to- three weeks.
Grand Voyages offer more days at sea, while Regions of the World showcase unique destinations and shore exploration.
“These carefully curated itineraries offer extended time in port, so guests have more time to explore each destination, including many overnight stays featuring two full days of exploration in cities such as Cape Town, Auckland, and Buenos Aires,” said Josh Leibowitz, senior vice president, Cunard North America.
The line has also announced new Grill benefits. Guests in Grills suites on voyages of seven nights or longer will receive free gratuities and free drinks when using the promo code ZED, which is not combinable with other offers.
Bookings for Oceans of Discovery 2020 voyages open for Cunard World Club members at midnight PT March 19, 2018, and open for public bookings at midnight PT March 20, 2018. Full World bookings made by Nov. 30, 2018, will receive benefits that include reduced deposits, onboard credits, and laundry service.
